What octane rating are you looking for? Go on VP's site, they make probably 50 different types of fuel. Stinsons on Bank St sells alot of race gas in drums. Findout what octane you need and go there. I've bought Pro racing Fuels Mark 4 from them a few times.
here is there page:

The Stinson on Bank usually sells Pro MK4 at the pump or in cans, it's 110 octane from what I remember. $2.85/L last summer.

Is there anywhere in Ottawa that has something higher than 94 at the pumps?

Well last summer I went up to a pump labelled "PRO Mark4" and payed $2.85/L for something else then. The guy working there said they usually have the race fuel in the tank behind the building for the summer and use it for kerosene in the winter.[/quote]

You're both sort of right, they do carry the 112 octane at the Stinson way out bank street. It is sold at "the pump" at that Stinson, but they pump it from a big barrel in the back into a jerry can for you. Then, you can pour it in your car. It sounds retarded, but the reasoning is that it is illegal to sell leaded gas at a regular gas pump, and race gas is leaded.
5 gallons is about 20l, which means last summer at $2.85/l that would have been ~$60 per drum.
You could probably count on one hand the number of imports in ottawa that actually need to run 116 or higher, so for most guys they stuff they sell "at the pump" should be just fine.

All the Mark series gas is unleaded, a nice bonus on your O2 sensors.

Stinsons has only ever sold 110 octane (mark2 and good for up to 14:1) at the pump (when they have it). All the ProFuels, asside from the alcohol of course, is unleaded.

I laugh every time a ricer is there buying higher octane rated fuel for their rides than it can actually effeciently burn, then turns around and announces to the masses that the fuel is shit because their cars were slower. Well duhhhhh !!! it doesnt work like nitrous for fuck sakes, it only slow the burn/flashpoint.

it depends on what you want.... I could email ACP and ask him where the best place to get it for the Evo4/Evo9 race car..... but he always got 205L drums.... from VP fuels...
Since we've been running more US events (prorally), we have to run on the Sunoco race fuel that's provided by Rally America (but we just buy a few drums per event)...
I know ImprezaWRX needs race fuel for pro rally application.... (since he's going to be open class with 34mm restrictor).

I need some because volumetric efficiency is for pussies and I'd rather just crank the boost until I run out of turbo.
