    Default yonaka seat reviews???

Wondering what people think of these seats. Can you please post personal experience of how comfy these seats are. Also post your height and weight.

My bro had some red ronin on sparco rails. Very uncomfortable. It felt like the seat was leaning forward a bit. Thought it was mounted improperly, but infact it that was the seats. I even went to t.o with the seats in the car and 2 hours in my ass and leg was numb. If I was you get some company that has good rep. Hey it cost alot more but its more practical. Yonaka you will get nice looking seats that are uncomfotable and not practical. My experience

I have the Ronin seats (black cloth w/ red stitching) in my V-Dub.
    5'10" 150-160lbs
Love them. They still look like new after almost 3yrs.
    Would recommend them

    i have samurai

black synthetic leather, with black stitching

i was told they were going to be uncomfortable, but i find them comfortable myself

    i'm 5'10" 180lbs

they're good for what they are, cheap and sporty looking

i wouldn't buy them if your looking for a quality light weight seat that will keep you planted for hardcore racing

but if you want a cheap nice looking seat go for it

cons would be that they're heavy at 33.5 lbs
and the rails that come with them are extremely cheap, almost unsafe, the teeth are so small

i modified my stock rails to fit

dont knock them untill you have tried them, you can easily test any of the seats you mentiond here within ottawa. Ive sat in them all and found them all comffy, esp for the price.

They also have a new lightweight seat.

    thumbup!

Also Ive had 3 sets of different sparcos way back and found them all very uncomffy as well and they cost 4x what the yonaka's will cost you.

I had a pair of black cloth samurais. I put sparco rails on them. for long distance driving they are very uncomfortable. and if you have a coupe be very annoyed trying to get things or people into the back seat.

    I'm 5'8" 160 lbs

thats why im asking if anyones tried these. havent met anyone around here with cobra seats so ive never been able to try them. i dont wanna pay that much for things that are uncomfy. theyd be pretty hard to resell.

i have sat in them and they aren't that bad, but compare it to a recaro seat (that you can get used in good condition) for a bit more. i love my recaro seats and they are very comfy, once i sat in them i knew i had to buy a pair.

IMO, get some used recaro's (pay the extra money for ones in mint condition) and call it a day

Sparcos are certified. That alone is well worth the extra money.

Indeed. I'll stick with my Tourino 2's. Way better quality/safety than the knock-offs.
