Default Earthquake between Montreal and Ottawa

    http://earthquakescanada.nrcan.gc.ca.../index-eng.php

Last night around 10:50pm a 3.9 magnitude quake hit near Lachute, Qc. I felt it quite a bit where I live and some friends in Hawksburry and Alexandria did as well. Anyone in Ottawa feel it?

Its a known fault region there. At least once every year we would get a minor earthquake like that back in the Alfred days. Always got so excited when it happened... so much power even if they are always weak. Cant imagine the 8.8 that hit Chile :S

I remember being at the old crappy tire on Tenth line a few years ago and an earthquake hit. I think it was measured around the same magnitude. All the lights were swaying back and forth and stuff was shaking on the shelves. It definitely overwhelms you. It makes you want to run outside in the open as fast as possible. hahaha As previously stated, I can only imagine what a bad quake feels like.

the ground needs to open up and swallow everything east of ottawa, all the way to quebec city.
