Default Shipping Stateside - the UPS Store, Ogdensburg

The Ultimate Question: How Do I Receive a Package At The UPS Store?

    1) When Checking Out Online, use our address as your shipping address (see #2).

    2) When shipping to the store, place your name and our address on your package.

    JOHN SMITH
    2981 Ford St. Ext.
    Ogdensburg, NY 13669

    3) Keep watch of your tracking number to see when your package has arrived and been signed for by a member of The UPS Store staff (typically Bouchard). A tracking number is a number that is assigned to your package whenever it ships FedEx or UPS. In some instances USPS has a tracking number as well - you can use our site to check the status of your packages with those carriers.

    4) Check www.TrackOgdensburg.com to see that your package has been processed and is available to be picked up.

    5) Make the short drive down the 401 to Ogdensburg, NY and pick up your package.

Do I Need To Make Arrangements Or Give Notice Before Shipping?
No. We get so many phone calls about our service we actually prefer that you simply ship it, track it and come over to pick it up. This allows us to focus on our front desk customers.

Can Somebody Other Than Myself Pickup My Package?

Yes. In order to ensure that your package is secure The UPS Store staff will need to see a print out of your order information with the merchandise listed and ID. Customs will also need an invoice showing the value of the items that you declare.

What Is The $5.00 Fee For?
The UPS Store charges $5.00 per package per week for receiving, holding the package in a secure location and ensuring that your package is safe in their warehouse. With our store being part of The Gateway Shopping Center your packages are secure.

Do You Accept FedEx and US Mail?
Yes. We accept packages from anybody who wants to drop them off, including all commercial trucking companies.

Can I Ship Freight To The Store?
Yes. The UPS Store in Ogdensburg has handled cars, motorcycles, ATVs, furniture and other large / heavy items. Freight is billed at $10 per day per pallet and the staff will typically contact you when the pallets arrive to keep your costs low.

    What's The Deal With Tires?

The UPS Store in Ogdensburg handles hundreds of tires every year for Canadian customers. Many customers purchase their tires from Tire Rack and have them shipped to the store. We charge $5.00 per tire to receive them. Some customers have saved $500 or more by getting their new tires from us as opposed to buying them in Canada.

What Do I Need To Bring For The Border?

Please bring a print out of your order information with the merchandise listed and a photo ID. Customs will also need an invoice showing the value of the items that you declare. It is a good idea to come prepared.

Can You Forward My Parcels To Canada From Your Store?
Yes, we can! The customer will be responsible for all shipping fees and brokerage required for shipping from the US to Canada.

I signed up for this a couple months ago, and realized they charge per item weight. Ridiculous.

I went there last weekend, still 30-40 min wait. Also picked something up at the corporate center. in and out in 5 min. only thing is the hours kind of suck and they only take USD cash. I'll never ship anything to the UPS store again. http://www.corp-ctr.com/

Just FYI I have used Kinek a couple of times and they charge $5 for any package 0-100lbs and that $5 gets you 30 days free storage and $1500 insurance if the package is damaged while at the facility. Not a bad deal imo. And whenever I use them there is no wait when picking up just in and out. Just trying to help people out, not trying to start any fires.
