    Default 2013 Cadillac ATS

Cadillac has just announced that the forthcoming 2013 ATS will come packing a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder putting out an estimated 270 horsepower.

The engine features direct-injection, a twin-scroll turbo huffing 20 psi of boost, an air-to-air intercooler and variable valve timing, along with a forged-steel crankshaft and a two-stage variable displacement oil pump.

Description from Car&Driver: What it is: A new smaller-than-CTS sedan, coupe, and possibly convertible with a front-engine, rear-drive layout (like the CTS). The ATS is supposed to deliveróbecause of its more compact dimensionsóthe dynamics of the vaunted BMW 3-series.

Everyone tries to match the 3-Series. None, so far, have succeeded.

That's what I thought. So, not a Cobalt SS with a Caddy body.
