    I think you are right and sadly it'll fail because of that.

    I'm a huge AE86 fanboy and I'm so very happy they built it but for 30K, you can have more of everything:

    Hyundai Coupe 274HP
    Mustang V6 305HP
    Camaro V6 323HP

    If I was in the market for a new 30K RWD coupe... I don't think I could justify the FR-S even if I love the idea of it.

    Now... if the base car was 25K tax inc it would be another story.

    I really doubt its going to be 32k. Lots of rumors, but I read the opposite of what captain obvious said - it will be much cheaper than the WRX.

    I'm going to say its coming in a little more than the v6 stang - 27-28k.
