Default Cars and Coffee Ottawa 2nd Event is This Saturday June 14

I'm hoping to build on the descent turnout we had at the last meet even more. Come and hang out at the Canadian Tire Centre from 10am-1pm. I figured it was wise to reduce the time by 1 hour so people would not come at 1pm and expect to see the parking lot full. If you're coming, try to get there for between 10 and 11am.

    New flyer. Please share.

How does this work for spectators? Is it $5 per person entering parking lot to show or just see?

I heard there were tickets given out at or near the meet? Officers waiting by the corner for on coming cars to hand out tickets. Is this true?

Yeah, fucking Casey was apparently sitting there.

Im not going back until the cops are told to get that fucker to back the hell off. Everyone knows hes got a stick up his ass about modified cars. Ive already beaten one BS ticket from him in court, and I dont care to get another.

i showed up a bit late for the first one got there at 12:00 and didnt see them but one guy i know did recieve some tickets. we shouldnt fear casey though, casey should fear all of us if he fucks up again. just keeps your cars in check and dont give him an excuse to give you a ticket for stupid things even though they set up right outside a charity event the heartless bastard.

I was there at the first event and there was cops all over the place, including the 417. It was like a buffet for them, not going back, at least not for a while.

I suspect the turnout to be very low today, most likely worst than 2 weeks ago. The organizers will have to sit down and figure out if it's possible to speak to the police. I hope I'm wrong and that this event keeps growing but I doubt it.

you do realize that the police station is right around the corner, there is going to be cops in the area, just don't give them an excuse to pull you over.

That's not the point. Everyone knows officer cunty likes to stretch every possible interpretation of the law into ways to punish car enthusiasts. He's a dirtbag who should be riding a desk.

LOL cops? Screw that. Casey isn't even in this zone. What is he doing hanging around in Kanata... It doesn't even matter if your car is within spec. They'll screw you for a license plate frame or your sticker not at the top right corner of plate.
