    Default Trico Washer Pumps

Your windshield uses washer pumps when you turn it on, to spray washer fluid on your windscreen and clean it. The pressure from the washer pump sends the fluid coursing to your windshield so that the wipers can move easier against the glass to remove accumulated dirt. If you've turned on your windshield and no fluid is coming out, it might mean you need to check the washer pump. Sometimes, it has accumulated dirt inside that is clogging up at the nozzles. Other times, pump is damaged, or just worn out, and you need to replace it. In times of harsh weather, you really need your washer pump to be working in order to clear up your windshield. So donít ignore a broken washer pump.

There are different types of washer pumps in your car. A windshield washer pump is the one everyone is familiar. There is a washer pump at the headlights. This is one is to keep the lenses on your headlights clean and to give you more powerful lights. In some cars you have a washer pump in the rear window. Trucks get this especially if you need to clear up that window for navigation.

Trico has a line of washer pumps that can fit almost all kinds of cars. They are easy to install with no need to drill holes to fit it in your car. It is good to check the original in your car, but be assured that Trico sells original equipment washer pumps. Their pumps are 12-volts powered and will fit in any vehicle. They come fully equipped, so you donít have to go looking for tubes, screws and the like. These pumps promote a strong washer system. Trico also manufactures wipers so if you need to replace your wipers as well, you can get them as one whole kit. Good maintenance will make your washer pump last longer.
