I've had a few stucks myself and would have come help had I seen this thread sooner.. Here's one of my famous 'incidents'.. your Jeep got off easy!!

Story as I got involved
Phone rings... (9pm)
Logan: I'm Seriously stuck you need to come
Dare-x: OK man on my way (thinking I got a movie date @ 11:30pm i'll be OK)
I make my way back into the trail to find Edison and the boys hanging out in the wo0ods waiting for help.
They hook up my Toyota and I pull like crazy and get Logan out..
Turn my truck around and Edison is stuck right beghind me, I pull him back and out....
I drive around him through the woods and out of the trail...
I then drive back into the trail cause Edison is stuck again.....
By this time Logan had got into position to pull Edison out, I again make the trip out of the trail, The rain is comming hard and the trail condition is fading really fast..
The jepp seems to find it's way through my trial in the woods and make it's way to the opening of the trail, but still very stuck again.
Logan and I took a trip to get some gas and had returned, Logan hooks up to the Jeep and pulls him the final distance out of the trail.
Edison is very detirmined that he can get out, SO I decide (bad idea) to go back into the trail to help, at this point the rain is very very serious. I quickly realize that he is not getting out,
I'll quote edison "I'm getting out even if I have to shovel my way out"
Knowing that I am in trouble nad have to get out of this fast I leave headed for solid ground into the darkness, full pin hoping to keep my speed to solid ground I bury my new 31" BFG mud terrains to the axle and stop dead. I wait 20 min while it pours in the truck thinking that these guiys are walking out and possible can throw me a line to pull me the short distance I had to go, as I wait I don't see them and the trail is gone and now a lake. Now I am just waiting for a ride home. Thinking with now body to pull them out what are they doing????
Is Edison really trying to shovel his truck out in the down pour??
I really would have like to know what he was saying to the guys with him to actually convince them to stay and help this losing battle.
Finally 1:30 am Edison some how knows he is not getting out and all can go home.
To the rescue come a great guy with a Land Cruiser and got both trucks out.

I soooo knew I should not have went back in.
Some how Edison got us to help him out of the wqould for hours on end and as well got our tow strap... (cough cough)

Louie in the Landcruizer was awesome, his diesel is amazing!
